From M1/M6: exit M1, Junction 19 onto M6. Exit Junction 6 for A38A and Birmingham City Centre. Continue to end of motorway and onto Aston Expressway flyover, signed Inner Ring Road/South (M5). Continue straight ahead and through three tunnels to Bristol Road southbound. Continue for 1/2 mile to traffic lights (near McDonalds). Turn right at traffic lights onto Leebank Middleway for 1 mile until Five Ways island. Take first left off islands into Calthorpe Road, just past the clock. Take the slip road on the right for the Swallow Hotel. This leads to Harbourne Road. The hotel entrance is directly opposite (beware oncoming traffic on left when coming out of slip road).
