I stayed here for one night and on arrival the receptionist was very friendly, check in was fast and I also received two free drink vouchers. Our room was located on the first floor, it was a bit of a maze to get to the room and really easy to get lost. On arrival to our room it was clean and of a decent size, however the bathroom was tiny, it was honestly the smallest bathroom I have ever seen, you literally had to walk in sideways. We then made our way to the health club to use the pool, steam room and sauna, these facilities were great and the receptionist at the health club desk was very friendly. The bed was quite comfortable, but neither myself or husband slept well, as it was so noisy, people walking through the corridor speaking loudly, slamming of doors, children screaming, parents letting their screaming children run up and down the corridor at 7am, this is no fault of the hotel but it did not make for a pleasant stay. The breakfast in the morning was nice had a good selection for all.
Stayed here Friday21st June we had a executive double room which was very clean and in a very quiet area of hotel . Breakfast was very good and bed was very comfy we will stay here again , would highly recommend
I was welcomed in a very friendly manner, all info provided. The hotel is quite spread out and it may take a bit of time if you are far from the reception (as I was). Don't be fooled by the room number: a room starting with 3, is not on the third floor, it is a separate section on the same level as the rooms starting with 2. All is clean, but a bit outdated. The room was relatively small but still OK, the bathroom on the other hand was really tiny (at least in comparison with other Holiday Inn hotels I stayed in (a lot!). The bathroom sink is very low. This was inconvenient, but all was clean and functional. The bed could use a new mattress though. Breakfast was OK
Just like to say about hannah service was great from this girl nothing was to much trouble. Food was good on the evening. Breakfast nice, hannah was on the morning as well happy girl always smiling to people and saying good morning. Nice start to a morning 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I stay here regularly because it is a very convenient location right by the M6 at Junction 7. The recently completed refurbishment of the public areas has improved the place a great deal. However, rooms and food are over-priced. The staff work very hard to please but the service is often very slow because they are almost always under-staffed in most areas - behind the bar, waiters/waitresses and in the kitchen. This is particularly evident when they have meetings/conferences running in their various meeting rooms or coach parties. The food is OK. Breakfast selection is good although they are rarely ready to start by 06.30. Rooms are adequate but nothing special including the 'executive' rooms. Room heating and cooling systems rarely work properly.
