Nice hotel is in good location. Breakfast was excellent, however hotel is a Little expensive. Other hotels in vicinity better value. Difficult to park near hotel at weekend, long walk to nearest car park a little annoying.
A return visit for us which did not disappoint. Staff are polite and courteous from the moment we stepped out of the taxi on arrival, to a very efficient checkout. Rooms are lovely with amazing views. Perfect location for the Symphony Hall ( connected via a bridge ) Arena, Mailbox designer shops and a short easy walk into the city. Next to the canal so very pleasant for a stroll or drink / meal. The biggest compliment to this hotel are the staff. On both visits everyone we met could not have done more for us. Some have worked for the hotel for many years and obviously proud of what they do, and so they should be it really has made us put Hyatt Regency at the top of our hotel booking list and we are already looking for our next mini break.
Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy room with great views. Central for shops and nightlife. Not alot of parking space at hotel but i did find a car park 10 mins walk away for only £8 for 24hrs instead of £25 the hotel charges. I would recommend this hotel.
Not usually a fan of big city hotels but very impressed with the location, the condition of the hotel and especially the staff who were incredibly helpful and welcoming . Great location Would definitely return.
I visited this hotel at the weekend with two of my friends. When we arrived at our room we were disappointed to find that it had only been set up for two adults, not three. We phoned down to reception who said that they would get the third bed and extras (towel, robe, cup etc) put in ASAP. We returned to our room having been out for the afternoon and the extra bed was there, however as our stay went on there were more things that we didn’t have for our third person, such as a cup and slippers for the spa. These may sound like small thins, however it caused an inconvenience to have to keep calling to ask for things, and it was just disappointing to not have everything that we expected based on the booking we’d made. We complained (again) when we checked out but to be honest we felt like the receptionist couldn’t care in the slightest that we were disappointed with our stay. We visited the spa which was pleasant but a little basic, the photos on the website make it look a lot nicer than it actually is! But it was very clean and tidy which was good. Despite the problems with the room not being set up for what we had booked, it was a comfortable room and felt very clean. Be aware though that you can hear the loud music from the neighbouring bars until the early hours. In summary, it was an ok stay but I’ve had much better for the money we spent.
